Shredders

The Bano range of equipment comes with various options including single and double rotor and screens of different dimensions to suit the product input and the customer required output size.

One of the principal characteristics of the Bano shredder is the innovative cutting system that is obtained by opposing the fixed blade to blades on the rotor. When these two meet they obtain an accurate cut (like in scissors). This cutting system is an exclusive of Bano who own the relative international patent.

The cutting elements placed on the rotor are K110 steel. The supports of the blades are in surface treated C45 steel and the supports are inserted in special pockets made in the rotor itself. The fixed blades are also in treated C45 steel.

Assembly and fixing of the blades to the supports is by single screw with a nut on the back. This system is used instead of the usual fixing by only a front screw to make disassembly of the blades and supports much quicker and easier.

Example of Materials that can be shredded and refined

• Light Metal

• Aluminium profiles and waste

• Domestic waste (washing machines, refrigerators, televisions and computers etc.)

• High tension cables

• Copper waste (cables, transformers and windings etc.)

• MSW and industrial wastes (for the production of RDF)

• Hospital wastes

• Plastics

• Tyres

• Paper

• Textiles
